Just a few kilometres from our Inn is Adria with its famous National Archaeological Museum, which is a must-see cultural stop that attracts a lot of travellers from all parts of Italy. Inside the Museum you will find the most important findings from archaeological areas from the pre-roman (mostly testimonies of the ancient etruscan city) and roman era discovered around the city.

Oasi Golena di Panarella is located in Papozze (RO), just a stone’s throw away from Locanda del Musso. It is considered the door to the Delta Po Regional Park, and it is an area of particular interest for a big variety of birds thanks to its environmental diversity. Here you can immerse yourself in nature and observe the diverse wildlife. You can explore the Oasi by bike, walking, horse-riding or by boat.
Located in Porto Caleri, resort of Rosolina Mare. Here you’ll walk on one of the three paths available on wooden walkways and dirt paths through which you’ll appreciate a succession of different environments: the pinewood, the scrub, humid areas of fresh-water and salt-water and sandy dunes. The colours, the smells, the salty air are an absolute blessing for nature lovers.
The Sacca degli Scardovari,in Porto Tolle (RO) is by far the most characteristic destination in the Po Delta. It is composed of a vast stretch of water between the mouths of the Po di Gnocca and the Po delle Tolle. Here you’ll see the typical fishermen's homes suspended over waters. The area is known for the aquaculture, mostly with farms for the DOP mussels, pink oysters and clams, all excellence of this land. During certain times of the year you can also visit the famous lavender field. Sacca degli Scardovari is a place to be explored, indeed.
This small town stood on the ancient roman way that linked Ravenna to Adria, the Via Popilia. Today a small museum shows its history through invaluable archaeological finds digged up in the excavations nearby. The museum exhibits findings of a roman villa and a big village inhabited between the VI and V century b.C. by Etrurian, Greeks, and Venetians. This small treasure hidden in the Polesan countryside is within easy reach by bike from Locanda del Musso. You can’t miss it!
